Julie Wells

With a first degree in Social Policy and a Masters in communication science, Julie has over 20 years experience in the health sector. Throughout her career Julie has focussed on contributing to the development of health and health services for the benefit of patients and staff.

For the last 10 years Julie has worked at Director level in a variety of national and local NHS organisations, including the NHS Modernisation Agency and the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement. Prior to becoming an independent consultant Julie was Director of Service Development at an NHS Foundation Trust whose work on safety and transformation is recognised internationally.

Prior to working in the health sector Julie worked as a political researcher for Harriet Harman MP.
